Bindi Irwin and her husband Chandler Powell are about to embark on a big new journey together. They’re going to be parents!
22-year-old Bindi took to social media to announce that she and Chandler are expecting their first child. She shared the happy news alongside a photo that shows her and Chandler holding up a tiny khaki shirt with the Australia Zoo logo printed on it.
“Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021,” Bindi said. “Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you.”
Bindi said she is still in her first trimester right now, but she and Chandler couldn’t wait to share the news with everyone.
“We couldn’t wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives,” Bindi wrote. “Your support means the world to us. Please let me know your best advice and send good vibes & prayers to our little sweetheart. Love & light.“

Chandler also made his own post about Bindi’s pregnancy.
In his post, Chandler said how much it means to him to become a dad. He also shared his love for Bindi, and expressed how she’s going to be a wonderful mom to their child.
“Becoming a dad is the highlight of my life,” Chandler said. “I cannot wait to embark on this new adventure and life chapter with my gorgeous wife, @bindisueirwin. Bee, you’re going to be the most amazing mother.”

Bindi and Chandler’s pregnancy news comes just five months after the couple tied the knot at Australia Zoo. Their original wedding plans had to be put on hold, but they made the best of the situation and had a stunning, intimate ceremony.
